I was saddened to hear of Carl’s passing and send my condolences to the entire Keddy family. The obituary in our local paper, the Sarnia Observer, was lovely....a wonderful memory of Carl’s life, career and family. He was a kind and gentle man who always looked distinguished and dapper. It has been many years since I knew Philip and Nancy in high school and I always smile when I remember being in the same Grade 9 home room as Philip and telling all our teacher that we were twins. I'm very sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Keddy. Him and Mrs Keddy have a special place in my heart. I began working at Keddco in 09 and right away I could see the respect and gratitude that employees and outsiders had for Mr. Keddy. I would pick up Mr. Keddy's newspaper and bring him Tim Horton's lunch (chicken soup and sandwhich with a coffee, double cupped) and we would chat about family and what his plans for the rest of the day. Even after the sell I would continue to bring the Keddy's their mail at their home and would see Mr. Keddy in his library or Mrs. Keddy in their kitchen with the beautiful views, bringing my now husband a few times. Working at Keddco I had made friendships that have lasted to today, the hard work ethic of Mr. Keddy made an impact on many of us. My condolences goes to all his family.
