When I read Anne's obituary in the Toronto Star, her name familiar to me, memories of my late aunt, Marie Fortune, and her years at the Bell came to mind. I remember meeting both Anne and Bill and if memory serves, Bill was my aunt's boss when she retired at Wynford Dr early 80's. I attended the retirement tea and met again all those folks my aunt worked with and spoke so fondly of during her many years at Ma Bell. My condolences to the family.

We wanted to pay our respects to Anne on behalf of Eber and Carol Hall and our whole family. My Mom Carol worked with Anne and played bridge with the Bell ladies for years. They also spent a lot of time together in Florida. Anne was a lovely person and we wish you all peace. Carol and Eber Hall Debbie and Scott Harvey

This is so sad....and the last time I saw Anne was at the Palliative Care at Sunnybrook and I was visiting someone else. We talked in the Lobby and she was waiting for her sisters..and I was going to volunteer at Sunnybrook. She did not look well and thought she was not well (about a year ago) We talked about how Bill was and I know he was very ill also. I am a friend also of Pat Cole and we were both Leasiders . I called Pat and reported the news in the paper this morning and we both want to say how sad we are about your loss and to send our condolences.
