We have such fond memories of Mary, The friendship which began at 22 /24 Park Road continued for over 60 years through lively correspondence and visits in both directions between Toronto and Nottingham. Mary was a generous host and a very welcome visitor. Mary was much loved and will be much missed, With love to you all , Margaret

We had such wonderful adventures when Aunty Mary came to England... We would go in search of the filming locations of her favourite British TV programmes...The intrepid explorers, we drove (all over England, Wales and Scotland) and she navigated us down the tiniest of country lanes, through all kinds of weathers. One of the funniest encounters we had was when we went to Wales in 2006 when the saga of Tom and Dick began....but where was Harry? We laughed and laughed so much like a pair of school girls (I guess you had to be there). The saga began in 2006 and we were still laughing about it the last time we met up in the Autumn of 2018. Such fun. We had such great times together and we will miss her, greatly. Elaine and Phil xx

Auntie Mary,
You were always so lovely to both myself and Lindsay-Jo and we will never forget your kindness. Thank you for the lovely memories. It is such a shame you didn't get the opportunity to meet Perseus you'd have absolutely loved him. We will be sure to tell him all about his great great Auntie Mary when he grows up. You will be greatly missed.

Mary was a good friend and neighbour for many years. A few of us were trying to arrange a gettogether recently, but sadly, couldn't manage it. We will miss her. Condolences to John, Dave and their families.
