I met Anna as a young production assistant in television. We used her beautiful home on Oriole Parkway as a film location more than once. I will always remember her kindness to a young kid trying to make something happen for himself in broadcasting. She invited me to her brother's wedding, which was a memorable affair complete with Nehru suits fro the groom and groomsmen.

I first had the privilege of meeting Anna when I was a teacher at BSS and she taught ballet. I inadvertently interrupted a class and she reminded me in no uncertain terms of the importance of these young students learning ballet.
How fortunate I was over the next several years and finally in my role as Head of School, to get to know Anna a little better. I always found her warmth, fierce love of beauty and the arts and her incredibly gracious presence to be treasured.
It was my good fortune to know her.
My condolences and sympathy to Donald and her family.

I will always remember Anna gracefully coming down the stairs at her and Don’s Christmas party and so pleased her tree looked so lovely. It was magnificent every year! First year we attended she told me “ don’t lift your arms up because it is so crowded you won’t get them down”. Both John and I were so honoured to be Invited year after year. God Bless Ana and sincere condolences Don. John and Sue McGovern

It was with great sadness that I learned of Anna's death. I first met Anna when I started my career at Eunice Denby Flowers.
The one particular memory is of the Christmas Party Anna gave. The centerpiece was an old brass chandelier with numerous votive candle holders. The center was a Holly tree - made by hand (with great pain) and gold marzipan pigs tucked throughout.
Christmases came and went, and for many years so did the Holly tree (with great pain).
Anna was a lady, a great one, who never spoke down to anyone (that I knew). She was kind, made you feel like you were a friend of hers. The legacy she leaves behind is amazing and something to be cherished.
When you look up to the night sky, if you see a particularly bright star, that will be Anna smiling down on you.
Each time you speak of her or think of her she lives in heart and mind.

Auntie Anna will be missed dearly. I have fond memories of her teaching me proper table manners at Port Cunnington and telling me stories of her life. You could tell how proud she was of her family. She was truly fabulous, that's the best way I can describe her. She was stunning, welcoming, generous, entrepreneurial, and fun among many other wonderful traits. There is nobody like her. Thinking of you Kaelin, Sean, Don, & family during this time. Much love, Rachel Wilmot & family ♥️

To Miss Anne’s Family:
We are truly sorry to hear about Miss Anne’s passing. We will always remember her elegance and her kindness to all the children she taught throughout the years. Our family has known Miss Anne since 1988 when Rachelle joined her SK ballet class and Naomi started in 1996.
Such a beautiful soul and her spirit will be missed but will live on in our memories.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
