Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kelly and Fox families. While we did not have the honour of meeting Justice Kelly, we have had the privilege of sharing time with Barb, Brian, Maddy and Kate. When I was a Justice of the Peace at Old City Hall Judge Kelly was the regional Senior Judge for Toronto. He was a true gentleman who cared about his staff and all members of the Judiciary working under his leadership. He was kind, understanding and accomodating. When I left my position permanently he called me at home and we spoke for some time. Judge Kelly was like a father figure who gave me advice and told me to keep my chin up. He was so down to earth that you could not help but like and respect him. There are few on the Bench like him. He will long be remembered. Thank you Judge Kelly. My condolences to his family at this difficult time.
