Dear Beautiful Mom. Missing you so much today. Yet remembering your sense of humour, love of birds and trees, and the good times we shared. So glad I got to spend time with you in your final days...singing, reading poetry, talking, and gazing into one another's eyes. You are with me always. Love Daughter Tracy xoxoxo

I admired my grandmother. She was always kind and loved to laugh. One of my strongest childhood memories is visiting her trailer camper in Gilmour county by the water. I was six. We chased frogs all day and I experienced my first camp fire. For many years, on days when Gramma visited her friend across the street (Jackie), she would always call me over too. I felt all grown up listening to her talk about art and books and have very colourful memories of our visits. She was at the center on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and her carefully crafted Christmas boxes contained some of the most personalized gifts I have received. I feel inspired by my Grandmother's courage and generosity. I will always be listening.

Dear Mom, as I look outside at the beautiful day -- and the trees sway, birds swoop, and bumble bees fly past me, I think of you and your deep love and respect for nature. Love Tracy

Sending love to all of you - Tracy, Colleen, Allysha, Landon & the whole family. I hope that your memories and the love you share will help make this loss a little easier. I will always remember your Mom/Grandmothers mischievous smile and most especially her laugh. She was a true character and she made the world a brighter place. I will forever smile when I think about birthday bags full of a myriad of small gifts and items that she had collected for the recipient. I am so glad that you have so many memories and the gift of supporting her over the past few years and months. To love and be loved are the gifts of a lifetime and your Mom had both.
Take care of each other. We are thinking of you all.
Love,
Kathi, Tim & Riley

I don't quite believe my Mom is gone. Perhaps, it's because she feels like part of me. For me, the most important thing for us to do was simply to be around each other. It wasn't ever really about talking with us. We had a deeper connection - something around being. I know her soul carries on somewhere in a breeze I brush past, a tree that sways as I look up, or a bird swooping beyond my eye-line. She's there. It feels like she's with me still. I feel her presence within me always. Grateful for all the little moments. Love you beautiful Mom.

My grandmother was a strong resilient woman, 1 of 18 children, and someone who carved out a path for herself and led with integrity, heart, and strength. She was an integral part of my childhood and many of my favourite memories are with her. I used to spend every Saturday at her house when I was a kid and she would always have an Archie comic and Kinder Egg waiting for me, adding up to hundreds of comics and toys that I still have today. She was one of the funniest people I’ve ever known, incredibly generous, and loyal. I will miss her deeply

My graceful Aunt,
I watched you whenever I was in your presence. Your laugh, your eyes, and even the way you held a cigarette. It was your laugh that bubbled out of you with such honesty that made my heart sing. The joy you gave others, your generosity and the privilege I felt in knowing you. Mom and you had made plans to meet on the beach in your bikinis when she was ninety. She was ninety and passed March 19,2020 and it is in my heart you are both dancing with joy at the waters edge.

Dear dear Mardy,
I think of you when I’m down by the water. The joyful moments being at home with you , Jack, Tracy and Colleen. Your cute rebelliousness towards things unimportant and your quiet love for people and fun things. You are here forever.

Aunt Mardy is truely a woman of strength and dignity. Thought parted with this world, I believe she is at rest now in the loving arms of Jesus. It was certainly a privleage and honor to have met such a woman.

Mom, I can feel you around and within and you will never leave my heart. It has been a blessing to have you so close. I was so hoping for another summer in the garden, but perhaps, where you are, the gardens are wildly beautiful, you are surrounded by others you love, your heart is full, and you are running free. This is my dream for you.
We all love you so very much.
