Words can not express our surprise to hear that Adrian has passed away. We had many great moments with her when she visited Turks and Caicos. Her energy, her laughter, her enthusiasm will be notably missed. She was always up for adventure and trying new things - hearing her laughter while on the trapeze of a sailboat just brings a smile. I cannot believe we will not be having any more of our Skype coffee chats. A kind, generous, funny and adventurous lady. We will miss her!!!! Our deepest condolences to all the family. Sincerely, Adam Twigg and Nancy Mizinski

Dear Fraser, Ann, Allison, Jordan and Alex; Your sister Adie will always hold a special spot in my heart. The trouble we got into back in Montreal days, dressing up with Jordan and Alex and loving the chaos at the kitchen table especially when there was a new carton of lemonade as well as memories of weekends at both Knowlton (Yarnells) and Ile Bizard (sp?). Adrian and I met up again many times through the years with the most recent time being at a Greek restaurant on the Danforth about 7 years ago. We laughed and cried happy tears remembering some of our antics, especially the time she came to Knowlton for the weekend and decided she was going to return home when my Mother served tinned peas! I can still see her marching down the driveway and sitting on a rock waiting to be taken home. I am beyond heart broken for the loss of such a wild at heart free spirit who was brighter than any sunshine you would imagine. Sending you all as well as Elizabeth and Samantha my deepest condolences.

To the whole Elliot family: I was absolutely heartbroken to have heard of Adrian's passing this afternoon. I had not seen her in a few years but I think of her often when I pass the school that her children attended, the storefront where she opened a shop in Riverside and the club where she taught on Lakeshore Blvd. Just last week I was walking with a friend and passed her old house in the upper beach and remembered a fun dinner Lucky and I spent here with her a few years ago.Adrian and I had lots of long walks on the beach in Lost Tree talking about everything under the sun and as a family we visited her rental cottage in Haliburton - just a half hour from us at the time - for a wonderful day and evening. She was funny, smart, full of energy and I loved the way she took on new challenges and reinvented herself every now and again. We laughed - a lot. She treasured her family- all her brothers and sisters and their children.
Most of all,I know she so incredibly happy to be a Mom to her girls..
We are so very very sorry for your loss and we are sending you our hugs and love at this unbelievably difficult time.
