Mum, Ed and I were sad to hear about Auntie Rose. We are sorry for the family loss. Thanksgiving at the farm is always my biggest memory. This picture was taken around 1978. It is how I always remember Rose – I thought the curly hair looked good on her.
As mum thought about it, last time she saw Rose was in Ottawa about 25 years ago. Janice always kept us up to date on how Rose was doing. Mum’s fondest memories with Rose are tobogganing at Hogg’s Hollow, going dancing at a Club near the house on O’Conner (Grandpa apparently didn’t know they were inside) and how they were the same size so they could share clothes. She talks about it with our friends in Dallas.
Rest in peace Rose.
With deepest sympathy,
Helen, Ed and Chris Grabowy
