DOUGLAS WILFRED DELANEY

Douglas Delaney was born on August 26, 1927 in Toronto and passed away in Port Perry on April 27, 2020, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lorraine Ruth Delaney. Dearly loved father of Steven (Angie) and Paul (Louie). Loving grandfather of Scott, Brent, Candice (Damian), Eric and Skylar. 

Doug was a remarkable man who had an incredibly successful 37 year career as a Bell Canada executive. He was respected and admired by his colleagues. He was devoted to his family and always supportive and loving.  And he had a brilliant mind, enabling him to talk on any subject and provide wonderful mentoring to his sons and grandchildren.

He was deeply loved by his family and will be forever remembered in their hearts.

A family funeral took place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on May 1, 2020. Douglas was buried alongside the love of his life, his wife Lorraine. May they rest in peace.
