I was so sorry to hear about Stuart's passing. I will miss him as my bridge partner every third Wednesday of the month at Leaside Bridge. We had good games together and he was always gracious about my mistakes. He was always prompt and never missed a game unless away at his cottage or in Barbados. His "bridge shoes" will be hard to fill.

Dear Scott Family,
Lashana and I are so grateful to have spent so many great times with Stu during family gatherings. He was such a genuine and gentle man with such a kind heart. It was so evident how much he loved his family and how much that time always meant to him. We are very saddened by his passing but take solace in the fact that he lived a long and fulfilling life with the people he loved.

Dear Doug,

I fondly remember Stu getting into a kayak at your cottage and heading out for a couple of hours to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. He was a good example of a man that valued his health and kept engaged with living fully. May he rest in peace.

Stuart, Pam and the Scott family were our great friends and neighbours on McRae Drive for many years and our friendship continued after they moved to Bennington Heights and continues to this day. I use to look forward to chatting with Stu on opening day each year of the Leaside Lawn Bowling Club. I had to give that up before he did so I missed seeing him last year. He was in amazing shape and I envied him. They will miss him at the Lawn Bowling Club and I shall miss him.
We will still look forward to meeting Pam while shopping at the Moore Loblaws.

I met Stu at Leaside Lawn Bowling Club when I joined in 2013. Had always enjoyed chatting with Stu before and after the games, and at our coffee break. I was in awe of his cycling abilities at his age. Didn't realize that we shared a passion for jazz! He will be very missed at lawn bowling. We send our sincere sympathy on your loss.
