Char will be well remembered for always having a beautiful smile for all that met her, a genuine listening ear and was one of the most welcoming people you could ever meet. We were truly so happy when Merrill (our cousin) and Char began their life together. Char was a person that moved through her illness with grace and was inspirational. To Mer and all of Char's family we send our deepest and most loving condolences. May she rest in peace.

A special beautiful woman who was part of our family and my sister in law. Char was truly one of a kind and will be missed by so many. I will always remember her with a smile on my face and love in my heart. To my beautiful sister, I am so sorry for the loss of your special love but she is watching over you, as are so many.

i remember char with the dogs on the beach. we'd talk, laugh , share stories ... about nothing. she was a joy, total delight,
a sweet heart of a soul ... a real light ... in all senses of the word. god bless the new angel up there ... we sure need stronger

Merrill: I am so saddened to hear of Char's passing. She was a truly accomplished individual and always an impeccably dressed golfer (often in stark contrast to me). More importantly Char was a kind and genuine soul. My memory of her will always be with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.
