I am Gene's step-niece Barb Baron (Booth). Her husband, my Uncle Gord, was our family dentist as well as wonderful uncle while I was a young person. I knew Gene as a lively, happy person, and although I have had little contact in recent years, her face and spirit lives on in my memory.
I am saddened to know that my cousins Jeremy and Jonathan are also no longer with us. Our early family visits were frequent and joyful, especially at our shared grandmother's home, Olive Booth.
To the rest of the family I would like to offer heartfelt condolences from my husband Bob and I.
