My sincere condolences to the Deeth family for their loss. I have just heard and regret I wasn’t able to attend the memorial. Margaret was a wonderful woman full of zest, intelligence and humanity. She met my mom at Bradgate Arms Retirement Residence and they soon became fast friends, enjoying meals together and having plenty of laughs. Once when the three of us were at a local restaurant for lunch, a whole table of women who were leaving the restaurant noticed Margaret, and eagerly came by to say hello. They were teachers and their admiration and respect for Margaret was obvious. One day I took Margaret to a school reading club that I run. She was thrilled to read with the kids, and I saw what a lovely manner she had with them. She must have been a great teacher in her day. Margaret was the epitome of grace and kindness. I am grateful for the friendship she had with my mom and am so glad to have known her.
