Eileen was one of my heroines. When Dr Oreopoulos interviewed me for an H.P.D.U. nursing position he told me about this wonderful nurse looking after his very ill brother. I of course agreed that I would try to live up to that standard. Little did I know !!! When I met and worked with Eileen I understood fully what he meant. She set a very high bar for the rest of us. Eileen was a woman of great faith ,great character, great mental and physical strength and one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met and had the privilege to work with. I will miss exchanging Christmas cards with her. To her wonderful family-she loved and talked about all of you- she will be watching over you . I wish you moments of peace and comfort .
