Thank you Gerry for enlightening my interest in the Acadian history. It started by reading the book by the American historian John Mack Faragher that you suggested me. You have read that book and it moved you. From then on my search made me discover that I am more Acadian than I tought. And I discovered my ancestors and their story.
Rest in peace now, after a long and interesting life.
I hope you will meet my dad Léon in your new world.
