Obituary of Haig Leon Selian

HAIG LEON SELIAN In the evening of Saturday, January 4, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones, Haig Leon Selian passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Born in Alexandria, Egypt on December 24, 1922, Haig called Canada home for the past 57 years. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Alice Selian; father of Doreen Berg; father-in-law of Robert Berg; and grandfather to Denna and Kevin (Taylor Smart) Berg. He was a dedicated member of the Armenian community, as the president of the Babayan Foundation, as well as a member on countless committees. You are invited to join the family for the visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11th at the Holy Trinity Armenian Church (920 Progress Avenue). Interment will follow in York Cemetery.
