I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Hans passing. I met Mr. Hans whilst working with Comark. More than 30 years ago I had the honour of participating in a conference where he was a guest speaker. He spoke about leadership, using the nesting dolls. Thirty years later, I still reference his leadership message which has served me well both personally and professionally. I will never forget his message and his impact.

Mr Brenninkmeyer was, quite possibly, the favorite of all of my friends’ dads. I am honored to have spent the few times I did get to share in his company. My absolute strongest love is all I can send to Mr Brenninkmeyer’s family- you are all amazing and I hate that you lost this beautiful soul too soon.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I knew Hans through his service on the FADICA Board and will always remember the kindness he showed to me as a relatively new FADICA member with a lot to learn. He was a genuinely caring person who was humble but brilliant. A wonderful person. I have asked our Sisters to hold all of you in prayer in the days ahead.
Peace,
Bridget

Dear Susie, Laura, Elise and Julie:
I was very deeply shocked and saddened by the terrible news I received at Christmas. I was stunned. Hans was always the guy who would live forever, especially with his 2 new knees. Susie -I really appreciate being informed directly by Nancy.
Hans and I had a solid business relationship, but it was always more than that. There was mutual respect. And Hans was the perfect client. He understood the "game", didn't panic, and asked great questions. He appreciated our work with him and the rest of the family.
I enjoyed seeing Hans at the annual Graham Christmas party. We chatted about knees there too, amongst many other things, as I am in the same boat. My 2 knees will be done "soon". Hans gave me great advice, and I am paying full attention.
I cannot fathom the grief you all are suffering. It is not where you expected to be. There were so many more years ahead.
My apologies for the lateness of this note. I was in Florida for 2 weeks after Christmas with Maxine, hubbie and their 3 kids. Then the flu hit me.
Once again, please accept my deepest condolences.
Sadly,
Greg Latremoille

Always smiling with a great attitude towards life! He was fun to have around, and although he recently sold his catboat, he was such a great part of our summer Rendezvous for many years. Here are a few of my favorites I wanted to share. Hans will be missed. Our heartfelt condolences to all. From his Marshall Marine Family

Dear Suzy and family,
Just after returning from holidays, too late for the video, I heard about the tragic passing of my nephew Hans. What a shock.
I met him only a few times, but I have a very positive feeling about him: an enthousiastic and energetic man.
I feel very sorry for you all and wish you strength and faith.

Dear Brenninkmeyer Family,
I have fond memories of Julie telling her Tufts friends and teammates amazing stories of her rugby-playing world-traveling father. I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. From Julie, it was clear that Hans lit up the room.
My sincere condolences,

Dear Family Brenninkmeyer
I was a fellow student of Hans and we also played rugby together at school. Later I met Hans when he was working in Hamburg and again he was part of the expat rugby team that we started in Hamburg called the Hamburg Exiles. I have many fond memories of Hans both on and off the field. Our paths never crossed again though I remember contacting him about the possibility of his attending the 50th reunion at Stonyhurst in 2009.
My sincerest condolences to his extended family

I thank God for having Mr. Hans cross my path years ago because he always was and will forevermore be my father figure. He was also the first man I ever looked up to, so he greatly impacted my life. Mr. Hans was also such a force of life who lit up every room he entered at work with his high energy and marvelous humour, and he had such integrity. There will never be anyone like him again and we are saying our deepest prayers for his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.
