Thinking of you today as you both commemorate and celebrate Donna's life and the memories which she left to us all. Wondrous days spent at Trace Manes ... the wading pool, the skating rink, the library, the baseball games. The walks, the talks, the donuts 'at the corner' (well before Tim's was even a thought on the horizon) , the olde jeans and turtle necks, Reeboks, loafers, our collective 'no money' ... the simplistic Leaside joy of it all. Yes. Those were the days!

I had the pleasure of meeting Donna in California at the home of her daughter Kristen and son-in-law Chase and I will never forget how kind and inviting she was to me. I truly felt like one of the family and she left a mark on my heart. I was very saddened to hear about her illness but comforted in knowing that she is out of pain. Her beautiful spirit lives on in her children and the lives she has touched.

I will always remember our adventures in Leaside as couples with young families. The dinners, BBQs, and neighbourhood play dates as we were all so fortunate to be stay at home moms. Donna became family from the minute we met. She treated us and our kids with so much warmth, kindness and love. She not only opened her heart to us, she always opened her door and made us feel welcome at the Frost family dinners and events. We are sending so much love to Ducky, who paired so perfectly with Donna, and reminded everyone that there should always be fun in a partnership that can only be described as “the biggest love” that I’ve ever seen. Our door and our hearts will always be open to ALL the Frost family and we are so sorry to Mike, Lauren, and Kristen who lost their exceptionally wonderful mother, and Micoh, Charlie and Taylor who won’t get to keep making memories with their magical grandmother.
