I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Tracey. I have many great memories and pictures on Hay Bay in the early 80’s hanging out with Tracey as my friend lived next door to his family. May you find comfort in these difficult times and know others are thinking of you as well. Take care. Stuart Carrothers.

So sorry to hear about Tracey - I just heard.
I worked with him - both at Anixter (when he was just a "kid") and at Cisco ...

I am saddened to hear of Tracey’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him off and on over the last 20 years and he was always fair, decent and supportive. Tracey was always positive, energetic and creative which rubbed off on those who had the pleasure of working with him. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Tracey's passing. I met Tracey way back when the IBM software lab was first built. We built a friendship that I will always remember and be thankful of. I wish I had of heard earlier of Tracey's passing and I would have attended the service to pay my respects. My heart and thoughts go out to his Wife, Daughters and family during this tough time.

Dear Kathleen, Emily, Kyleigh, and family,
What a beautiful service and reception for Tracey. Although I had only met him once, today gave me a little bit more of an understanding of the extraordinarily kind person he was. The warm eulogy for Tracey was enhanced by the slide show that painted a picture of a beloved friend and family member, and someone who lived life to the fullest - with a very generous spirit. What a great legacy to leave to a family and community.
Alexa, Jake and I send love to you for the healing days ahead
big hugs,
Terri Hawkes

Tracey
You provided leadership, passion and a positive view on everything you touched. Your personality was so unique and you brought strength and inspiration to those around you. I looked to you for a sounding board, for perspective and for a shoulder during some challenging times. You were there, you were a foundation and I you have been taken from this world too young ... this is a loss that is so difficult to understand. I wish you peace and comfort knowing that your light will continue to burn brightly, RIP xo

My condolences to Tracey’s family. I only had the opportunity to know Tracey a short time and while there are no words that can ever properly help I came across this poem by Robert Burns and wanted to share it because it resonated with me:
———
An honest man here lies at rest,
The friend of man, the friend of truth,
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm'd,
Few heads with knowledge so inform'd;
If there's another world, he lives in bliss;
If there is none, he made the best of this.
———
Our lives are mostly about our impact on others. Tracey leaves our world immeasurably richer and while he may be missed, because of his impact on all of us he will never be truly absent.

Tracey was the guy who I always referred people to who needed a connection. He had some much respect and creditability in this business and more important than all that, was a positive and amazing individual. Tracey was encouraging and had an ability to always add value to a discussion, be it business or personal. A class act and a friend who will be missed.

Hutchison family, my deepest condolences.
I met Tracey at Cisco over the summer of 2016 when I had my first real summer job through university. I reported directly to him. I've always attributed Tracey as being my first guide in supporting my transition from school to the workplace. His patience, contagious positivity, and empathy made him someone I both admired and learned so much from over that summer. It should have been a strenuous period in my life, but Tracey's personality made the summer an exciting one, one in which I learned the ins and outs of business, and grew as a person trying to figure out my path.
I am saddened by his passing, but I am truly honoured to have been under his wing while he was here.
May he rest in peace and his legacy live forever.
With love, Mark

Tracey was a good friend. Not a good friend, a great friend. His mentorship, ideas and dedication were inspiring to all of us. He was always there for me in the tough times and the good times.
We had some amazing times and some great laughs over the years. I am going to miss him more than most.
A great man doesn't begin to describe Tracey.

Tracey could drive a golf ball really really far. The first time we played he out-drove me by 30 yards. It was impressive.
There were so many impressive things about Tracey and a few included:
- his willingness to mentor his people with questions to help them self discover the truth of things for themselves
- he was great at math, he and I had numerous conversations about ROI, growth, margin etc and to say he was quick with
numbers would be an understatement
- he was a natural born strategic thinker, not a common trait, loved chatting with him about the best route to achieve goals
- he was a great conversationalist & socializer
We were relatively new friends; only a few years but I really liked and respected him. He was a great guy.
I'll miss him for the rest of my life.
Condolences to Kathleen and the girls.
Our positive thoughts and prayers to his family.

Kathleen and Family,
It was truly heartbreaking to hear of the loss of Tracey. He was a man, unlike many, constantly creating positive impact for whoever he touched. Through his positivity, thoughtfulness and true caring, he unselfishly nurtured people to achieve their best and those efforts will never be forgotten by myself nor the company. A special man indeed.
Thinking of the Hutchinson Family at this very difficult time.
