I have such happy memories of Mary Lou and Mike when I was the Rector of Christ Church Deer Park 1988-2002. Mike would often tell me how things were supposed to be done on Sunday mornings (with the sidemen) and Mary Lou would wave her hand and say "O Mike - let it go!" She had such a beaming smile and always had a warm and generous welcome. Judy and I are thinking of her family now and ask that Mary Lou's Easter faith be ours as well. (The Rev) Tim Elliott

My condolences to the family of Mary Lou. I met her several years ago when she was greeting visitors at the desk at Christ Church Deer Park on a Tuesday morning. I would be coming to practise the organ, and she always had a smile and some good conversation with me. We talked about music and concerts; sometimes we attended an Amici concert at the same time. I often spoke with her at a Sunday service. I have missed her recently. She was a delightful lady. Marcia Kavanagh
