So sorry to hear of Eric's passing. It was a priviledge to know and work with Eric. My late husband John always thought so highly of him. The best to you and your family.

To Sheila & Family,
My deepest sympathies to you on Eric’s passing. Lighting a bright candle for Eric: keeping his light and loving Spirit shining brightly. Your dear husband & Dad will be smiling with you forever.
I knew Eric through both sports at Queen’s (his major Basketball Reffing) & my playing various sports competitively. Then we re-connected in our Queen’s MBA78 class. Eric was so intelligent, caring and full of life.
Eric became a major unbelievable Warrior through many health challenges related to a liver transplant. He fought hard for life over several years. He was so blessed to have Sheila as his soulmate, so dedicated & supporting her life partner “until death do us part”.
So glad to see & Visit with Eric at our 40th MBA Reunion Oct 2018.
So very sorry that I cannot attend the Reception Sun Sept 22 in Toronto.
Keeping you all in my heart; dearest Eric is now at peace and sharing his love with you from above.
Thank you, Eric for being such a wonderful friend & classmate. You lived life fully, experienced as much as possible, led by example, and now have earned the top angel position, watching over all of you. His love will live on eternally. Cherish all of your memories!
Thanks Eric. Until we meet again.
Love, Marg/Floss-Gananoque, ON

Sheila and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Eric was vibrant member of our MBA '78 class - an active participant in class with a great sense of humour. We shared a connection with Camp Hollyburn as I found out one day when he showed up in class with a Hollyburn t shirt on. He had been a counselor there and I knew the family who owned the camp, as they used to have a cottage next to ours. I later sent my son there.
I enjoyed reconnecting with Eric at our 5 year reunions and he will be sorely missed.
My thoughts are with you

My sincere sympathy to all of Eric’s family. I knew him through the U of T Centre for Industrial Relations, where I was a librarian and he taught for several years. He was such a warm, caring, and vivacious person that I think all of the staff, as well as his students, had a special place in our hearts for him.

It was a distinct pleasure to know and work with Eric as part of the CarePath team. He was an insightful and considerate person, absolutely committed to enhancing the experience of cancer patients, and will always remain as such in my memory. Many people today continue to benefit from his contribution - the world needs more people like Eric.

Eric was my CMA instructor from 1992 to 1994. He was an exceptional teacher. However, he was an even better friend and mentor. He guided my career and introduced me to others who have influenced my life. I will be forever, thankful for the interest that he showed in me and will keep my memories of him close to my heart. Rest in peace Eric.

I met Eric when we were at Queen's University 1976-78, and after our graduation in '78, he was the first of my classmates to ever phone me at my place of work in Newfoundland. It's funny how we sometimes remember simple things about people we meet. Though we saw very little of each other after Queen's days, I did consider him a friend. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family at this difficult time. Please cherish his memories. God Bless.

A lovely man and a treasured colleague for many years. I have to believe he penned that charming notice. If not, it certainly sounded like the Eric I know. I will miss him and feel very sorry to hear of this loss.
