Dear Nick, Marlena, Mikey, Jack, Sabrina and family,
We want to express our sincere condolences on the passing of Mike. I was reflecting tonight and realized I have known Mike since the age of 3 when we moved onto Hillcrest Avenue in 1988. We remained neighbours until selling the family home in 2011. In those twenty-three years as neighbours, Mike was always a consummate gentlemen, a wonderful neighbour and someone you always knew you could rely on along with Lukia in a time of need. They were both wonderful support figures after the passing of my mother.
Since moving away from Hillcrest it’s been fun staying in touch and exchanging Christmas cards with each other. Both Mike and Lukia took such an interest in my son Emerson after he was born, which was very special. I’m so glad Mike was out in July when Emerson and I drove by so we could stop in for a visit.
Mike will definitely be missed and will ever hold a special place in our hearts.
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Know we are thinking of you.
