Dearest Swinburne Family,
Murray and I were two neighbours of Don, Evelina and Nadia for a number of years on Snow Goose Lanes. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Don. Murray remembers him as a generous man who provided him and his family with hockey tickets which they truly enjoyed. I remember him as a confident, friendly neighbour who always greeted me with a smile.

So very sorry to hear that Don is no longer with us. Don and I were great friends during his time in book publishing and we kept in contact after that when I moved to Vancouver.
The early days at Methuen Publications were crazy and Don was a steadying influence on us all.
The last time I saw Don was unfortunately at the Celebration of Life for a mutual friend. The meeting at this time bought us both to tears. Now I'm having the same feelings as I write this goodbye to a very wonderful guy.

My sincere condolences to all of Don's family. I met Don when he purchased Today's Bride in 1986. Over the years I had pleasure of talking with Don about business and the joy and pride we both shared about our children,
