Fr. John is the most exceptional human I know - it is because of him that I returned to the Orthodox church over 25 years ago, and opening my heart to real peace and courage. I witnessed and was inspired by his incredible ability to tirelessly serve others and put their needs before his own...wherever there was pain, he would offer comfort, misunderstanding, sow peace.
His kindness, integrity, depth of compassion, humility and grace are unparalleled...he truly lived and modelled the values of the faith. I feel privileged and blessed to have been in the presence of this soul, and to be counted among one of his many spiritual children - may his memory be eternal.
