I am indeed very, very saddened by the loss of Roberta (Bobbie to me) whom I met in Quebec City and with whom
I shared an apartment for two years in Quebec. She became not only my best friend but she was also a sort of mentor to me.
we kept in touch until about 15 years ago. Last year, I tried calling her on July 11th, her birthday. Little did I know that
she had died on the 9th. I printed her name on google that day. Nothing came up. I printed David's name (her husband, David Grimshaw ) and found his obituary. I tried again calling Bobbie in July but couldn't reach her. Last night I googled her name and this is how I found that she had passed away. Bobbie always brought out the very best in me. She was an angel in my life and she got to know my family as well. She often called me little sister. Please, if one who was close to her in her last years can communicate with me to let me know more about her and how she passed away, I would appreciate it so much.
