Obituary of Lawrence Anderson Edwards

Passed peacefully at home on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the age of 94 and a half years. Predeceased by his loving wife Marcelle Ruth (nee Sheppard) in 2005. He leaves behind his loving daughter Nancy Edwards, his son Neil and daughter-in-law Kathy, as well as his grandchildren Liam Edwards, and Rodney and Allegra Pearce. He will be dearly missed by his younger sister Miriam Carter. Larry served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII and he was a proud member of York Lodge 156, as well as a Shriner. He was a pharmacist for many years and after his retirement he became a popular figure in the neighbourhood. Friends and family will be received at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W Miles Chapel (1403 Bayview Ave, Toronto) on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 5 - 8 p.m. for visitation. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow the service. Condolences may be forwarded through humphreymiles.com.
