Deepest sympathy, love and condolences from your Edmonton extended family. Uncle Settimio was a wonderful uncle to all of us. His visits here and our visits to Toronto are very special to our hearts. Our grandmother, Angela, adored him, especially because he was the baby of their large family. She told us many stories of their childhood and life in their little town and the hardships, love and perserverance of their family. Uncle Settimio had the work ethic and grit that was the hallmark of his family and many other immigrants to our country. He was immensely kind and loving to us and we are grateful we knew him. We send love and sympathy to our Zia Comare Angela Lucia, Cousins: Connie, Joe, Emma, Mario, Tony and Maria and the entire family. Our deepest, most sincere condolences to everyone at this most difficult time. May he Rest now and tend to his gardens, chickens and rabbits once again in all of his glory. Nonno was part of our extended family. He always welcomed us in as part of his family. He was always so very welcoming. I will miss little moments in time. He was very fond of my father. He could speak to him for hours on end. When my father passed away in 2014 it was very difficult on Nonno as well. Every family gathering I always made sure to spend a little quiet time with Nonno...I would almost always insist on walking him home. But that time was so precious because he felt so at ease with me that he could speak about my father and their discussions and the love and respect they had for each other and how he missed that. I will now miss these moments. My hope is that they have found each other and can share more of these moments again. To all of the family members and dear friends my Heart goes out to all of you.
