I was deeply saddened to read of Delia’s death. She was a good friend and school friend in South Porcupine. She and Frank visited in Elmvale years ago. She trained at Sick Kids and I at Toronto General. I send my deepest sympathy to the family.
Most sincerely
Wendy MacKenzie nee Cross.

To all the Zingrones, my condolences. I remember your mum's warm and welcoming kindness - and fabulous smile. She was always so incredibly interested in what was going on. Your mum made me feel so welcome at your home when I was a kid. And she introduced me to some wonderful home cooking!

Hello Zingrone Family,
Sorry to hear about your mom, Delia. Saw the obit in the Saturday Globe and Mail. Will always remember the whole family having dinner in the dining room at Grandview and the fun "teenage" years. It is great you still go to Little Rock - know your mom loved the old sofa in the screened in porch for her afternoons.
My thoughts are with you,
Cathy (Darker) Eggertson

We are saddened by the loss of our dear cousin and friend, with whom we shared a special bond since our marriages in the same year and the births of our children. Delia and Frank were very special cousins who left a profound impression on all who had the good fortune to know them. We send our condolences to the family. Please know that others care and feel your loss.

Delia shared her keen interest in gardening with me and I assisted her for a number years with planting and maintaining her garden on Glencairn. Over the years we became friends. It was always clear that Delia loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was proud of all of them. Delia and her late husband Frank taught me the importance of eating a good lunch. (In fact Delia usually insisted that I stay and eat with both of them when we finished in the garden). Delia and Frank both attracted and encouraged friends of all ages, guiding them through good and bad times. Delia, thank you for encouraging me in my work and in my life. We will all remember you fondly.

I'm so very sorry that Delia has left us.
She was a delightful and engaging personality with a wonderful sense of style who never lost sight of the importance of nourishing family - and extended family - connections. So many of us have benefited from that.
Hers was a life very well lived ... and I carry the remembrance and fun of her many selfs as a health care professional, fashion retailer, estate agent and all-round loving family manager.
My condolences and love to you all,
Kealy Wilkinson

I recognized her name immediately, even though it’s been 34 years since my husband, David and I met and spent some brief time with her. David died almost four years ago and like Delia did, I continue without my husband, but still in the beautiful home that she found for us. I am sorry for your loss.
