Our deepest condolences to Peggy and all of their family and friends. Jack will truly be missed from Sutherland Drive where we have been fortunate to have known him for the past 11 years. Jack and Peggy helped us purchase our house down the street by introducing us to the owners. Jack was one of the best neighbours you could ever have. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, loan one of his many tools or share some sound advice. You could always find Jack working on his house during all the seasons of the year. We will miss seeing him and hearing his cheerful voice.
Love,
The Wilsons (Shawn, Gina, Chloe and Luke)

To all of Jack's family.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of seeing Jack over the years during many festive occasions. Its not all that long ago that I was at Iva and Michael’s home for dinner and Jack was sitting across from me. I remember him smiling and making me laugh and those are the fond memories that I will always have of him.

Jack was such a presence in our neighborhood always ready to lend a hand or indeed take over and do the job himself. A very special memory will always be of Jack as Santa. Christmas Eve would find Jack out with his sack of goodies and hand bell ringing popping in wherever little ones lived and even big ones. Jack always had a smile even when life throwed the inevitable curves his way. If you passed the house with your dog there was Jack with a handful of treats which he kept In the trunk of his car for his four legged friends whether or not he knew you. A warm gentle man who will leave a large gap in all his neighbors lives.

It's always sad to hear news of family and loved ones leaving this earth. I will always remember Jack as "skinny Uncle Jack" (As Jack Griffiths was not as skinny). I remember times as a child being able to play with mementos from Uncle Jack's memorabilia... and one thing I remember ever so vividly, was a paper moustache he used to clip on my nose. I know it seems silly, but it stands out so much in my mind. Uncle Jack was a very kind man and had time for everyone, even me as a little child... a good heart and a good soul.
Uncle Jack will be missed by everyone, especially close family. I can imagine he and Cliff up at the pearly gates catching up on old times. They are in good company with family passed and hopefully holding hands with god himself.
I am so sorry for your loss, 2019 has not been kind to us so far! :(

How can one measure the impact that this man had on our neighbourhood? He was certainly the Jack of all trades, with a garage full of every tool anyone would ever need. There was always a project on the go, but he willing to put his project on hold if he was asked to consult on your project.
We will miss Jack - his cheerfulness, his determination in the face of physical decline. He was a wonderful neighbour.
