My deepest condolences to the Poole family. Bill was a very kind and welcoming person. He helped me very much in understanding the photographic business in Canada and it was even more fascinating to listen to his family stories. We even met in a coffee shop after he retired from his advisor position and I looked forward to those moments, as much as to his Christmas cards.

We are so lucky to have an uncle like Uncle Bill. A very good man who lived a very good life. A lot of wisdom and an unwavering sense of fun.
A favourite story: As a child, Mom, at the dinner table, surreptitiously stuffed her unwanted potato in her pocket. Uncle Bill, in the know, yet committed to sibling secrecy, wacked his sister's pocket with his gentle fist... " Like mashed potatoes Marilyn? Like mashed potatoes?

We wish to send our deepest condolences to the family of Bill, I personal have know Bill for a long-Long time, always enjoyed his company. It was only last week I were looking at old photos, when a group of us were invited to Japan, (put together by Minolta) what a trip that was, Bill was in some of the pictures.
Greg, I’m sure you will remember me well, as I also had dealings with you directly. Please pass on my deapest regards to all of the Poole family.
Bill and I had a couple of things in common, from the photo trade (I started in 1958) our age is one year apart, and I believe we had the same number of Children (we have 7).
Bill was a Gentleman and will be missed by all.

Our daughter Krista was speaking about Bill earlier in the week and brought up a wonderful memory...
Many years ago when we were all together he would say to Krista, 'stop smiling' and then of course she would smile and he loved seeing her dimples!
