Dear Phillip and Douglas,
I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. I knew her when I taught at Corvette P.S. from 1966-1974. It was always a pleasure to receive her grade 1 students into my grade 2 class. "Mrs. Black's" children were well-prepared to meet the challenges of the next grade.
I still have the lovely pram blanket she knitted for my then new daughter.
I was interesting to read about her second marriage. I'm sure she was a loving and dedicated Minister's wife.
