Your mom’s beautiful obituary was a walk down memory lane...back to the Heath Street East days in the 50’s as next door neighbours. Our moms were the best of friends. They’d meet on their respective porches to discuss (over a “drink”) the latest news from that morning’s perusal of the Globe and Mail. Then arrived the day that our mom decided to climb across the railings! To her surprise and your mom’s she miss-read the distance and crashed to the ground breaking some ribs!!! Your mom (& Dad) also allowed (rescued?) our cat Puffy into your 2nd storey bedroom! Love to you all Karen (Warren) Hutton

Dear Chris, Thinking of you and your family at this sad time. Wonderful that you can celebrate your mother’s amazing accomplishments and her leading the way for women to achieve. A life well lived!! However, I understand what a loss it is for you. She was such a nice person and I have always admired her. Peter and I are away so unfortunately we will not be able to see you tomorrow or attend her funeral. Love, Mary Estelle
