Obituary of Anita Jane Smith

Anita Jane Smith (nee Lederer)

It is with great sadness, yet peace of mind, that we announce the passing of Anita on Saturday, February 2^nd at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.  Besieged by Multiple Sclerosis for the last 30 years, she lived her life with her head held high, supporting her children and always hoping for improved health and happiness.  She is survived by her much loving son Matthew and daughter Caleigh and her amazing caregiver and best friend Delsie Samuels.  Delsie raised Anita’s quality of life to incomprehensible levels and we all hold her in our hearts with sincere love and appreciation.  Anita is also survived by her mother Eva Lederer and brothers Tom and John.  A family memorial will be held at a later date.  For those so inclined, a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be much appreciated.  May Anita rest in peace with god’s blessing.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
