Obituary of Catherine Mary Percival
CATHERINE MARY PERCIVAL
(née Beatty)
Died peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Born May 20, 1916 to James A. Beatty and Margaret Jane Byers. Predeceased by her beloved husband, John (Jack) A. Percival, Catherine is survived by her two daughters, Catherine Jane Hawke (Gordon) and Susan Margaret Biilmann (Ole); and six grandchildren, Heather, John and Hillary Hawke; and Karen, Christopher and Anne Biilmann. She will be fondly remembered by her devoted caregivers, Tess Su and Joy Insalada. We are also grateful for the wonderful care provided by Integracare, particularly Mihaela and Colleen. Many thanks to the Palliative team from Temmy Latner for their kindnesses.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22nd with a service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to Queen’s University, 50B Arch Street, Kingston, K7L 3N6, Attention Michelle Pruefer, re: Dr. John Percival Bursary.
