Obituary of Edward McNeill

EDWARD ALEC McNEILL September 30, 1941 - November 21, 2018 Ed was predeceased by his parents, N. John and Mary (Ballachey) McNeill. Dearly loved brother of Gary (Pat), Bill (Brenda) and Margie (Peter Kelly). He will be missed by his companion Gene and loving friend for life Marilyn. Ed followed the lives of his nieces and nephews, Kristi (Oliver), Gord (Celeste), Katie (Ben), Tom (Lindsay), Sheila (Geoff) and Mary (Josh), with great interest and loved getting to know their children Addison, Ben, Fergus, Gracie May and Jack. Ed loved history, especially family history, and was a wealth of information on any topic. We will all miss him. Our family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and other staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (Sunnybrook Campus) and Sunnybrook Veterans Centre ~ K-Wing for their outstanding care during Ed’s illness. We greatly appreciate all of their kindness and concern. In keeping with Ed's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at a later date.
