JOHN ANGUS McISAAC
December 26, 1918 – November 26, 2018
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, John Angus McIsaac. Dad died on Monday, November 26, 2018, one month short of his 100th birthday. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Doris (2007) and his beloved daughter, Catherine Anne (2014). Dad was a gentle man of great wit and intellect with a genius for invention. He will be greatly missed by his family Merron (Ferruccio), Rod (Maureen), Frances (Calvin) and his loving grandchildren Darcie, Jacqueline (Jess), Rory, Jane, Alec; and Eric (Lesley), Paul, Darren (Austen) Gottardi; Gillian and Meagan Younger.
We are deeply grateful for the outstanding care that Dad received at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre with special thanks to Paula Phillips and Dr. Shergold as well as Dad’s caregiver Yolette. Your care and love made John’s life so much richer in his last years – thank you.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30th. Mass at Holy Name Catholic Church (71 Gough Street, Toronto) on Saturday, December 1st at 10:00 a.m. Interment and reception to follow.
