Obituary of Nancy Estelle Bunt

NANCY ESTELLE BUNT (nee Robertson) May 28, 1927 – November 23, 2018 Passed peacefully in her sleep early November 23rd. Nancy is survived by her husband of 67 years, and her love of 77, Don; her children, Donald (Lori), Janette (Scott Warne); her grandchildren, Darryl, Kaitlyn (James Hooks), Zachary, Jennifer (Steve Fortuna); and her great-grandchildren, Josh, Michael, Nicole and Anthony. What to say about mom? We could do the obvious and tell you where she was born, where she went to school and where she worked. We don’t think that is necessary. We do want to tell you what a special lady mom was to all of us. We want you to know that even with a severe hearing loss, she didn’t miss much. We want you to know that she really enjoyed a good party and threw some of the best. We want to tell you that she was the best wife and mother. We also want to tell you that she could be your best friend and would do anything for you; however, if you crossed her family, you had better watch out. But mostly, we want to tell you that she will be missed more than she could ever have imagined. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) for a service on Saturday, December 1st at 1:30 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Rosedale Room of the funeral home.
