Obituary of Doris Winnifred Wilson
DORIS WINNIFRED WILSON
1929 – 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 89 years young after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Charlie for 60 years prior to his passing in 2011, and dear sister to Margaret and Robert. Loving mother to Judy (David), Peter (Kim), and Pam (deceased husband Grant), proud grandmother to Ryan and Tucker, and proud step-grandmother to Jennifer, Stephanie and Kaitlyn. Doris was a voracious reader, bridge player, and a proud volunteer at the Princess Margaret Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at Delmanor, 187 Wynford Dr., Toronto on Sunday, December 2nd between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) would be gratefully appreciated.
