Dear Anne, Lynn, Janet & Families:
We are very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. In my mind, he set the standard of a true gentleman. I always enjoyed talking to him and his sunny disposition. His and your mother's friendship was so important to my parents over many years. In particular, I will never forget the kindness shown by him and Lois to my mother after my father's passing. You,as well as our family, were fortunate to have him for such a long time. Somehow I picture him and my Dad skiing down some heavenly slope now, or perhaps discussing how to re-wire the heavens! Unfortunately, we will not be able to make it to the memorial service, but please be assured that you, as well as your father, are in our thoughts and prayers.
