My heart is so heavy. Wendy gave me a chance in 2006 as a new grad and hired me onto the WAESS team. I often reflect on those years with gratitude as being some of the best of my life and by far the best team I have ever been a part of.
Wendy, a passionate mental health advocate was the definition of a true leader. She inspired, motivated and brought out the best in others. She was a compassionate, thoughtful, positive person, always lifting others up and has had a lasting impact on me. I was blessed to have had such an amazing mentor and cheerleader though the years and will hold these memories close to my heart. She was one of a kind and I will miss her dearly.
My sincere condolences to her family during this difficult time. May you find peace in the days ahead and be comforted by your memories.
