My deepest condolences to all of Rose Anne’s family. I only just found out about her passing, and I’m just so saddened to hear about it. I worked with Rose Anne at SickKids, in the CDC. I always valued her input as the teacher on our team, and appreciated her warmth and caring. Notwithstanding that, i know that her greatest pride was in her family. I will always remember Rose Anne as a wonderful colleague, and a friend. I hope that your own cherished memories have helped to ease you through this most difficult time, and will continue to sustain you.

Dear Barry and family,
Rose Anne was my best friend in elementary school and the early high school years. Rosa taught us catechism so we could attend girl guides. Anne was the most methodical focused girl guide, her fire starting stick was always perfect. I would stop at her house on my way to McNicol school so we could walk together. Always afraid that one of her brothers would answer the door, they were so big .....but friendly and protective of their only sister. As years passed we drifted to our own interests but often our trails crossed until Anne married her Barry, your wedding was the most beautiful of any I have attended. Rosa would keep me up to date with Anne and family when we met around Penticton. You met my sister at Lake Superior Lakers hockey, how surprised I was that my nephew plays hockey with Anne’s son!
Anne had the biggest heart and most gentle and comforting soul, I am sure she left many wonderful memories for you to cherish so you will always be surrounded in her love.
Thinking of you, Bonnie

Dear Barry, Austin, Emma, Brendan and all your extended family,
We are so sad to hear about Rose Anne's passing away and really have no words to adequately express the depth of sadness and disbelief. We have such wonderful memories of spending time with her, whether briefly on our visit to Toronto many years ago and then more often here in Vancouver either before or after your summer trips to Penticton. Rose Anne was truly special and she left us an unforgettable image of beauty, grace and kindness.
We send our deepest condolences and heartfelt wishes to you all.
Much love,
Birgit, Norm, Marcus and Katrina

Barry, Austin, Emma and Brendan: So sorry to read this obituary. Rose Anne was a fine, fine lady. We always enjoyed bumping into her at sporting events, from soccer when the kids were young to hockey later. May your family, friends, faith and fond memories see you through this difficult time.

Dear Barry and family
As a friend and colleague of Rose Anne's mother,Rosa Coleman,I was privileged to watch Rose Anne grow into a loving, sensitive caring woman. She managed to keep up with her brothers ,especially enjoying tennis. On her wedding day she proudly wore her mother's lace wedding dress.
On our walks, talks and tea meetings we often discussed our children.Rosa was very proud of all Rose Anne had accomplished.I would like to pass on my condolences to her five brothers,William,Stanley,Richard,Patrick and Edward.I had the opportunity to teach two of the boys at St.Joseph School in Penticton.I have kept Rose Anne in my daily prayers since her first diagnosis.
She is at peace and joins her parents in a quiet restful place.
Many thoughts and prayers are with you all,
Dorothy Anderson
