Heartfelt condolences to Ingrid’s relatives in Canada and Estonia. I and my wife Jane got to know Ingrid when we became members of the Bibliography Club, an organization in the Estonian Studies Centre at Toronto’s Tartu College. There we worked together in the Endel Aruja archives, until Ingrid, a valued member, retired from the club in her mid-eighties.
On a personal note, I recall that in Parnu, Estonia, she attended the then Tytarlaste Gymnaasium (Girls’ High School) where my mother taught English and Latin in the last years before we escaped westward in the face of the advancing Red Army.
