So sorry for your loss... I had the pleasure of being a friend and teammate to Mike at St. Mike's. We were teammates on the Sr. Blue Raiders basketball team. He brought levity and fun to our team, in addition to his talent... I fondly remember one instance of us, deciding on a whim, to walk home from a basketball run at George brown college at Sherbourne and Front. He was situated at Yonge and Eglinton (8km away), and I at Keele and Finch(20 km away). I can't remember what we talked about on our journey, but I know I was smiling and laughing the entire way... He was such a genuine, fun loving human being. I also remember visiting him in East Lansing, and him making me feel right at home despite his presence as popular figure on campus... He was the same ole guy.... Although we weren't as close in recent years, we would occasionally converse through social media and remain connected. It was amazing to see his career take off...It was truly saddening to hear of his sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I will miss him.
