To the MacIver Family
My deepest sympathies for the loss of a truly great lady. I have extremely fond memories of bowling with Millicent at The Granite Club for many years and seeing and speaking with her at the Gym where she regularly did her walking laps. Such a nice person...you should be really proud to have had her as your mother and grandmother. Such a terrific role model. She set a standard that all of us should strive to achieve and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Kindly,
Brad Dalgliesh

It was so nice that Millicent thought to phone mother, she was very touched and sadden. With Millicent's death mother is the last member of the Jarvis Collegiate Bridge Club. I think everyone thought Millicent would have that honour.... what amazing friendships to survive all these years.
Regards to Martha, my Jarvis friend.
Jane Burgess.

Dear MacIver Family:
How lucky was I to have such a wonderful God Mother growing up. Aunt Mil was the best. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Bill

Sandra, heartfelt condolences to you and your family. It was always a pleasure to arrive at your Mom’s table during a game. After a quiet but warm welcome, she would proceed to declare or defend a hand expertly, usually to good result, and as I recall, never critical of a partner’s error. A lovely role model for all of us. We will miss her!
