Obituary of William "Bill" Davison Sutherland
Bill passed away peacefully in his 87th year surrounded by his loving family at Humber River Hospital on Sunday September 2, 2018.
For many years, Bill enjoyed a successful career as a civil servant within the R.C.M.P. Outside of the many interests in his life, the one that never faded was to spend time at the cottage. He was well known to spend hours outside watching the stars or cruising the lake.
His fondness for Florida and Turks and Caicos led him to take many trips until failing health no longer allowed him to travel. Although he loved his adventures, his heart always remained in Muskoka/Parry Sound.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Karla, his children Mellissa and Evelyn and “grand-dog” Maggie.
The family will be celebrating his life in a private service. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humber River Hospital 1235 Wilson Avenue, Toronto, M3M 0B2 or the Alzheimer Society of Canada 20 Eglinton Avenue West, 16th Floor, Toronto, M4R 1K8.
