KATHERINE MILDRED PILGRIM

 

Peacefully, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Veterans Wing on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 Katherine Mildred Pilgrim passed away.  She was predeceased by her parents; Charles D’Arcy and Mildred Edith Spittal and her brother; Robert Charles Spittal.  Katherine was born April 16, 1929 in London, Ontario and attended Alma College and the University of Western Ontario.  Blessed by a quick smile, a sparkle in her eyes and a joie de vivre, she was a patient, loving and supportive mother, grandmother and friend.  Katherine is survived by her children; David (Wendy), Peter (Mary Beth), Suzanne (Charlie) and Sandra (Ian) and eight grandchildren; Strachan, Pearce, Colin, Stephanie and Christopher Jarvis, Travis Aback, Signy and William Matthews.

 

Funeral service will take place in St. John’s Anglican Church, 19 Don Ridge Drive, on Thursday, August 23rd at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Garnsworthy Room.  Donations to the Toronto Commandery Hospice (119-660 Eglinton Avenue East, Box 417, Toronto, ON M4G 2K2) or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.
