Obituary of William George Bulucon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William, in his 81^st year.  He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, July 5, 2018.  Born in Toronto of Greek heritage on May 17, 1938, son of the late George and Helen (Scopis) Bulucon.  Loving father to his daughters Andrea (Bryan Bott), Lianne and Chandra (Ara Mizrakjian); and grandfather to Stephanie and Adam Bott; brother to Lillian (Kenny Pappas), Marilyn (Robert "Meatball" Brendle), Irene (Wolfgang Rueckwart) and Byron Bulucon.  William is predeceased by his first wife Stephanie (Kelley), previously married to Audrey (Bonczar).  Sadly his daughter Lianne died in 2009.

William graduated from the University of Toronto, Business and Engineering Program. He played varsity football and was recruited to play on a professional level.  He went on to co-own and oversee the family business (Le Coq d’Or Tavern and Olympia Bowl in Downtown Toronto) before working in Real Estate.  He later owned a brokerage with Countrywide Realty.  He was an excellent golf player and a fierce competitor; loved cars, boating, travelling overseas, health and wellness.

William will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbours.

The family will receive guests for a reception and Celebration of William’s life on Wednesday, July 18^th at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
