My deepest sympathies to the entire family on your loss.
I was a colleague of George's and I valued his sense of humor and wit.
He was a brilliant speaker and I thoroughly enjoyed learning from his presentations.
I especially remember the time he came to Montreal to present to a large group and the taxi driver could not find the office. The driver was going in circles, desperately searching for the roadway to our office for over an hour.
George was very cool, calm and collected and it didn’t seem to faze him (or at least it didn’t show).
Just walked in, matter of fact, set up and presented!
Only an hour late for his own presentation!
We laughed so much about it after the fact.
Such a gracious man. May you all be spared further sorrow.
