Our children were so lucky to have Morag as their kindergarten educational assistant at Davisville Public School. She was wonderfully kind and enthusiastic, energetic, feisty and outspoken. All the kids loved her. The best part was that she spoke to the children in a warm, honest way (i.e. blunt and affectionate), acknowledging they were smart and worthy if occasionally needing a little direction. My favourite memory is the day she told me that the playground conversation had been particularly interesting. Our younger daughter and her friends had been animatedly discussing whether their fathers wore pyjamas to bed or not. There were no secrets in those days, just a lot of fun. Morag was special and will loom large in our memories forever. Margaret, Luigi, Katherine and Claire

Dear Tony, Anne and Family,
Jerry shared with us the passing of Morag. I was privileged to have met Morag during her many visits to the farm with you all.
Morag always made me feel welcome and relaxed, a working farm with a busy farm house filled with three generations can get overwhelming but Morag had a way of making it all feel natural......the norm. She showed me that being part of a family is life's greatest reward. The Arrell's were the family she chose to be her life's legacy in having a family of her own.
I am very saddened for your family's loss and truly believe Morag achieved her legacy with such loving success. Three very privileged generations indeed!

To all who mourn,
Dear Morag was a gift. A lucky gift at that as when she first arrived to care for the Arrell children, who would have imagined what she would come to mean to so many. Hugely capable, dry of wit, endlessly caring & responsible, loyal, energetic, flexible, versatile. I shall always be grateful to have known this brave & stoic woman who took what life offered her and shaped it into a life by design. Go with God Morag Knowing you were loved.

We both travelled to Canada in the same year, we did not know each other but we became good friends very quickly. I don’t know anyone who could make soup better than Morag. She adored her Canadian family especially Laura, Cameron, Ashleigh & Nicole. I still remember Cameron opening a birthday gift from Morag and his excitement with her choice was a delight to see and we both had tears running down our face at his joy. Morag was such fun and the best friend you could ask for, she was generous in spirit and heart, you could always count on her. I am truly sad we have lost such a special person at a tender age. My sincerest condolences to her Scottish & Canadian family and friends.
