Everyone at YouthLink, formerly the Big Sister Association of Metropolitan Toronto, joins me in mourning the passing of one of our greatest leaders. Over her many years as a volunteer with us, Bev carried out all of the roles: Board President, event organizer, fundraiser, donor, program leader and, most recently, informal advisor to me in my role as Executive Director. She and I were to have lunch this week. I looked forward to sharing some of the leadership challenges and opportunities YouthLink is facing. I was counting on her to give me her best, impartial advice which I always found helpful. I was also looking forward to hearing the most recent news about her family, and sharing that about mine. Bev's family was her most important love, and she shared that love of her family openly and often. We will miss her strength of character, her beauty inside and out, and her unwavering support. Our warmest condolences to all of Bev's family and friends.

We will miss Bev so much! She has been an integral member of our Book Club from its very beginning 20 years ago. She loved it and we loved her. Her intelligence, passion for reading, smiles and enjoyment of ‘organizing ‘ us will be missed. Who will say,” Now ladies, it’s time to begin”?
I know the other members of our little group will be feeling the loss.
I want to send a few photos but am not yet sure how to do that.
In sympathy,
Peggy Moore

At times like this words are never enough. Maybe, we will just say that Bev was one of the ‘GREATS’!’
The world will never be the same without her but, it is so much better for having had her presence.
We are all better for having had the incredible good fortune to know her.

To all of Bev’s beloved family,
There are no words for your loss! I know how Bev loved you all and always wanted the best for each and everyone one of you!! And, yes, she was a very proud Grandie and surely, her Grandchildren’s biggest fan club!!
As one of her many long time friends, I am stunned by the news of Bev’s passing and am having difficulties imagining her absence within this network!! She will not be forgotten, and her life will be celebrated by all of us for the out going, hard working and independant soul that she was! My love and condolences go out to you all! Wendy Rossiter
